Authorisation object C_EHSD_SDX Dangerous goods additional data

Hello all,

An authorization trace requires a * for the authorization object C_EHSD_SDX in the field ACTVT. This is not surprising at first.

However, for the "permissible activities" for this field, an extremely large number of activities are available and also many that do not appear to me to be applicable in this context of the authorization object, or even critical, such as "Change no. range status", "Maintain number range object", "Transport"...

Any ideas? Thx

Thanks too 😉

Dear Holger

i can confirm your findings. You should start an OSS dialog to clarify this. You can get in touch with an "ABAPer"... according to my analysis only at max 3 of the listed values are used for doing an "authority check". The "rest" of the values are not used (according to my fast analysis).

With best regards

Hi Christoph,

maybe you have the chance to check availible values for ACTVT in "your" system? In our I found soooo many strange values like "transport", delete on database, "create ledger" .... things that NOT refered to DG-master and of course values which are normaly part of IT-staff not "ordinary" ehs enduser...

best thx

Hello

sorry.. never had the need to check this. I found this:

http://www.authorizationexperts.com/sap/c_ehsd_sdx/

with this explanation:

Authorization object for fields in the tables LIPSDG and VBEPDG.
Using the authorization object C_EHSD_SDX you can set up user-specific
profiles for displaying and editing dangerous goods additional data.
The authorization is checked when you enter the transaction
Delivery -> Item -> Dangerous goods supplement.

Table "LIPSDG" was discussed e.g. here:

https://answers.sap.com/questions/8834473/dg-points-for-delivery-in-table-lipsdg.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/11659575/dangerous-goods---limited-quantities.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/10066146/dangerous-goods---lq-and-rq.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/11659575/dangerous-goods---limited-quantities.html

The other table: e.g. here:

https://answers.sap.com/questions/2515141/regarding-table-vbepdg--dangerous-goods.html

No idea for the "list of values" as allowed.

The "best" you can may be do: use a "where used" option to check (may be) how the many values are used (in which context etc.)
