Audit - PLMD_AUDIT T.code linkage to Notification creation

Hi

I would like to create QM notification from PLMZ_AUDIT t.code for the set of Audit Question subsets that is created for a Audit plan.

any FM that can support this functionality.

Hello Abhishek,

This is needed when we need to have a quality notification for CAPA under the Audit. This was the business case which I implemented. But, there can be some other similar cases to that.

Hi Dipesh,

There is a option to create a CAPA for the Question in Audit Management , Also there are reminder functionality using email for the CAPA created using Audit Management which is again a standard functionality. There is no Need to Create QN all the required functionality is present in the Audit Management. There is also Standard reports to have a Planned /Actual start and end date which is not possible in QN as per the Standard

Reason for linking Audit with Notification that user wants to track between linkage of Audit with follow up actions taken up for that particular Questions through Notification activity..

Hi Vignesh,

i would stress on the same thing again, it is possible to map the same functionality using audit management. There is no need to create a QN just to track the CAPA with follow up, the actions taken are usually a some written note confirmation, and is monitored manually and no organization can maintain that level of transparency by having QN in place, it will be difficult to sustain in the long run, You can se PLM_AUDITMONITOR to view the open CAPA and report PLM_AUDIT_REMINDER_01 to send reminder for the Open CAPA assigned to the concerned person. You can even customize the message that needs to be sent for each for the Variant. It is highly configurable. Just explore the standard functionality option before opting to use QN and Audit integration.

Thanks for great insights.Agree with you that notification can be secondary.

Thing is CAPA is also disabled and parallelly user wants CAPA & Notification details.

Enabling CAPA checked with some FM still exploring as ABAP is finding some challenges in enabling CAPA & further more on Notification context.

Would be great if any document steps or procedure can be shared on this context.
