Assembly order process - WBS structure

Hello,

I am currently working on a change request for the assembly order process. I've completed all the necessary configurations and set up the standard template for the WBS structure. Upon saving the sales order, the project is being created successfully.

However, the issue I'm facing is that only the project definition, level-one WBS, and the network header are being generated, and the WBS structure up to level 3 is not being created.

Since we are not using activities, I haven’t allocated any WBS elements to activities in the standard network. I suspect this might be the reason for the incomplete WBS structure.

Could anyone advise on generating the full WBS structure in the assembly order process without using network activities?

Hi Praveen.

You are correct. The WBS will be created only with WBS elements that have an associated object from the network (header, activities, or sub-activities). In your case, you can link the network header to a level 3 WBS element. However, if your structure contains more than one level 3 WBS element, the entire structure may not be created properly.
