Archive SFC thouth in queue in operation

hi,

How does archiving works? should it pick up the SFC's that is in work on routing and didn't have status Done?

we have SFC's that has been archived though the SFC is active in several operation, how can we keep these SFC's from archiving??

Hi,

The automatic archiving script or background process archives SFCs based on actual comp date not status. Normally actual comp date of SFC is set only when the SFC gets Done status, so you could investigate more in that direction. It can also archive SFCs when the Shop Order is archived - but again based on the actual comp date of the Shop Order, meaning SFCs are expected to be Done.

However, manual archiving is possible using the Archive activity, even if the SFC is not Done.
