Approval Of Usage Decision

Dear Experts

I have usage decison R Where ( R = Rejection Required Approval ).Business requirement is that if UD is R then stock should not post until the UD is approved from quality Manager. I believe we can do this with standard Follow up Action & work flow process. But Not able to configure it out . Plz Suggest .

For this requirement, you've to set automatic proposal for stock postings for UD (Catalog 3) in the transaction QS51. Select stock posting proposal as "Transfer to blocked stock" for the code "R" and set the indicator for background processing, so the system will do the transfer posting from QI to blocked automatically in background. Also, set up follow-up action as "MAIL" against the rejection code, so the system will send mail to QM manager upon UD is made. In standard, FM "QFOA_MAIL_SENDING_STANDARD" is responsible for triggering mail notification and for any additional requirement, you can copy and make the required changes.
