Dear Experts,

We are facing an issue accessing the Defaults/Xacute query on one of MII environments at version - 14.0 SP5 Patch 3.

I am able to run custom Xacute queries (one we create in Workbench) from the web page using Illuminator, but in case of the standard Defaults/Xacute its giving error "Allow Dynamic Query indicator is not selected on the Data Server screen."

Could you please guide where do we locate these Defaults/XXXXXX services and where its settings can be controlled?

Best Regards,

Swapnil

Looks like you might have to patch. FWIW it looks like the illuminator service for the Xacute connector may not require a template at all so that may be an option.

Did this work in the past or on other servers and versions? Do you have some example code you can provide?

Hi Christian,

It did never work on this server, and seems this is issue with particular version 14.0 SP5. I did find another environment at same version 14.0 SP5, and the issue is posed there too. Although other environments at 15.1 do not block the same service call with this error.

We are using the Defaults/Xacute as QueryTemplate while sending call to Illuminator over https/ajax, folllowed by the Trx name.

Thanks for your response,

In your MII Portal, Select Data Services - Data Servers. Select your Server (XacuteConnector). At the bottom of the Settings tab, there are two checkboxes. Both Enabled and Allow Dynamic Query should be selected.

Probably ought to check the Status tab to make sure it is running. If it is not, it should show on the server list with a red X instead of a green check. If it fails to run properly, you will need to dig into the Connection tab to make sure it is configured properly.

Cheers, Mike

Mike, Thanks for response,

I did check as per your suggestion but this connector doesnot offer this setting "Allow Dynamic Query" for XacuteConnector, not on this version 14.0 and others 15.1.

All I have access to is 15.2 which is where it is. I would recommend looking around in the data servers or connections or even maybe some of the system parameters to see where it is defined.
