admin authorization in SAP PPM

Hello PPM experts,

I have been assigned the admin role to administer the PPM instance. But I am not aware if I am able to get all the authorizations e.g. Replace user. In my PPM system, I see the following (Substitute) menu and not the Replace menu.

Also it is allowing only to substitute for myself and not other users. I would like to substitute other user's with their counterparts in the department. Can someone throw light on what authorizations should i check? I have reverted back to super user authorization from the simplified superuser authorization.

Hello,

Currently you are into Substitutes app, if you want to use replace user functionality then use the Project Management Office--> Replace User/Resources.

Hello Ashiwni,

Please note replace user and Substitute both are different process.

In your case you are using substitutes which will work when you are assigned as a responsible resource of any of the project elements.

Thanks for your response. But since I am provided admin roles, why dont i see Replace user? Which means that I do not really have admin rights. So which authorization is not provided to me?
