adding field in functional location T-code IL02

Good morning every one , I have added field in the screen of functinal location ( IL02 ) ( user data ) in the screen ,

But the field is not being saved in the table although i have added it in Equipment ( IE02 ) and it saves in table , Does any one konw why ?

I will be thankfull for an answer and much gratitude in advance.

Check your implementation of the ITOB0001 extension (in particular the management of the received parameter I_OBJECT_TYPE) as well as your Customizing adjustment.

thanks alot for answering the issue was in the customizing adjustment as according for configuration i was suppose to add the field in table IFLOT , I have another qustion if you do not mind me asking ,

is there a chance of adding field to the selection screen of t-code : IH08 ?

Try to use implicit enhancement spots in MIOLESEL and MIEQUI20 (be aware that at least 3 reports are impacted)

I have tried that but i found out enhancment spots are internal use.

I suggested some implicit spots, not the SAP explicit ones...
