Dear Experts,
Current Process: We are using 6 Alternative BOM for FG material in our system for particular plant. PP team using multiple BOMs in a single month for production. But the system is picking the cost of the BOM set as the default BOM.
The Process that followed now:
1.Users are creating Process orders based on the BOM set in the system as per requirement.
2.Issue component for the production
3.Received FG after Production through MIGO
4.System picked cost based upon default BOM
5.Adjusting WACC manually based on components cost issued to production accordingly at each production stage.
To Be Process: After the Completion of each production based on the BOM used by user, the system will update the cost of that BOM i.e., the cost of the component & by-product used accordingly at the end of which of production.
New process that needed:
1.Users create process orders based on the BOM in the system as per their requirement.
2.Issue component for the production
3.Received FG after the production through MIGO
4.System will update the cost of the components & By product issued for production accordingly at each stage.
* Can implementation of Actual costing solve this issue. If Yes, Kindly share the Step by Step process to implement.
