I'm creating a material as HALB in MM01. Now my doubt is

For which materials strategy group should be given ?

Can we give for HALB material or only for FERT material ?

Hi,

Do you also manufacture the HALB Material, I think we need to maintain Planning Strategy for all the inhouse manufactured materials.

If u have a BOM for HALB Material and you manufacture, we need to have a Planning Strategy for HALB also along with FERT Material.

You should define a planning strategy for all those materials where you are planning to create a forecast.

You can define a planning strategy for a HALB material if you will have a forecast at semi-finished product level, with planning strategy 70, for example. Otherwise, if you are only creating a forecast for finished products, it is not necessary to define a strategy for HALBs.

For the response .

In my case HALB material is input for the FERT material. So i have to give strategy group only for FERT material .
