about duplication of data

In our company we implemented SAP R\3 and recently implemented PLM.

The <b>CAD tools like Solid Edge, Autocad and Inventor are integrated with R\3 with Cideon and Gedas.</b>

The main problem we are facing from end user is that, end user saves the document(drawing) in DMS and again needs to upload the document in cfolder.

So<b> this is redundancy of data.</b>

Hence the work will increase..

As R\3 is implemented first, the material is created in R\3.

If we create a material from cfolder, there is no direct link between purchase and cfolder document.

please Help on this aswell.

Once document is created in R/3 DMS, you don't need to upload it again in cFolder. cFolder should be configured properly to fetch documents from R/3. Please refer to cFolder configuration guide.

Didn't find the information from configuration guide, could you give more detailed info?
