Is there process to Migrate  3rd party Legacy system Intelex to SAP EHSM ?

Sri,

SAP provides tools for loading of data into EHSM Component extension and in particular for incident management.  Take a look at the document "Migrating to Component Extension 5.0 for SAP EHS Management" (available in the Service marketplace via link from help.sap.com).  A version of the document is available for each release of EHSM Component extension.

Hi Sri,

You can Migrate Incident management from Intelex to SAP EHSM Incident management.

Intelex is generating all reports in MS EXCEL  which can be uploaded to SAP EHSM Incident management by Developing custom upload program

please confirm that we are talking about "Component Extension for SAP EHS Management".

Second. This SAP component has several "submodules".

E.g. we can differentiate in current version:

Incident Management (EHS-MGM-INC)

Risk Assessment (EHS-MGM-RAS)

Product Compliance (EHS-MGM-PRC)

and:

Foundation for EHS Management (EHS-MGM-FND)

To which of these submodules are you referring? On the top: we have different version. Do we talk about 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. 4.0 or 5.0 version (Target system)? Which data is to be imported fomr the "source" system?

The topic of "data migration" in context of this tool has been asked sometimes. We are not using the Component Extension version. I would expect that yoj can transfer data fomr source to target using e.g. IDOC etc.

My question was, One of my existing customer is using Intelx product for there EHS .  Now customer want's to Migrate 3rd party legacy to SAP EHSM? Using LSMW can we proceed ?

All the logistics modules had been implemented on SAP, Only for EHS they wore using "Intelex"

My assumption would be that 80% of the "intelex"solutions can be mapped to "Component Extension for SAP EHS Management"

The links I have provided are the "only" ones I know (in SCN); and as mentioned: we do not use this module.

Therefore regarding your subquestion:  Using LSMW can we proceed ?

I can provide no answer.

For EHS classic you could try to use LSMW but I am not aware of any kind of similar project who has used it. For EHS Classic the "standard" import is used only (or may be some uses now OCC?).

May be some one different can help you.
