The ninth step in the Waste Management E2E Process for All Countries Blog Series – South African Example is to a create a disposal channel. It defines how and by whom waste products can be transported and disposed of from the waste stream, created in Waste Management E2E Process Blog Series Step 8: Creating a Waste Stream.
The disposal channel clarifies how waste will be disposed of and which disposal facility it will be treated at. Also, the transportation document type you previously created in Waste Management E2E Process Blog Series Step 7: Creating a Transportation Document Type is specified when creating a disposal channel. This is done by assigning the transportation document type to the disposal channel because it determines the rules and regulations of each step in the waste disposal chain in order to ensure legal compliance.
