Managing commercial projects in execution involves closely monitoring project health w.r.t to cost, revenue and other project parameters. SAP Commercial Project Management cost view brings relevant information together. But at times on a 13inch laptop, number of columns (and order of the columns) that are displayed could easily pose a challenge to consume the information. While individual users can personalise the cost view with their variants as I have done here (see fig 1), one would like to preconfigure some of these views for all users.
Such as
- Cost, Revenue and Margin view
- Cost and Quantity View
- Period view
- Structure view
- Cost by resource type (such as Labor, Material Equipment etc)
Above table view uses SAP Webdynpro Floor plan manager as technology. I cam across this
blog from another community area which exactly explains the intent I have mentioned above. One can use this blog as a reference to preconfigure cost view for all users.
