The European Chemical Agency started the public consultation and is looking for comments from the industry on 10 new substances and substance groups. Cadmium and Cadmum oxide are included as is already the case for RoHS. Substances are proposed because they are of concern for the environment, toxic, persistent, bioaccumulative or a combination of those characteristics.
The substances are expected to be included into the REACH SVHS list in the second half of June.

Once published the list of REACH SVHCs will be updated in SAP Product Stewardship Network and published as part of the regulatory content.
