Today marks an exciting milestone with the latest Public Cloud release for Product Compliance. This update brings new features, updated content, and improved processes, all designed to enhance user experience and streamline compliance management.
For those dealing with dangerous goods, staying compliant is crucial. The latest release includes new compliance requirement versions for the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG) and the International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA-DGR). For detailed instructions on connecting to our Regulatory Content Service, see the SAP Note 2999140. Another note on dangerous goods content, there is also a help page dedicated to all things content here. A side note about the content service, it can be set up to deliver new compliance requirement versions, but you still need to activate the new version for it to be used in the system.
Packing instructions according to dangerous goods regulations data is also visible in the View Regulatory Data - Dangerous Goods app. Packing instructions according to dangerous goods regulation data shows the acceptable single and combination packagings. For combination packagings, the acceptable inner packagings, outer packagings and when applicable, the maximum permitted quantity in each inner or outer packaging are shown per packing group. This information is also part of the Dangerous Goods List for Packing Instructions.
Here you can see the View Regulatory Data – Dangerous Goods app, and now there is a clickable link within the Enclosure Instruction Code. This link takes you to additional packaging information, structured like the actual dangerous goods regulations.
This is regulation dependent, and while this is not available for regulations, it is something we will continue to expand as data becomes available.
Moving on to product marketability, there are a lot of updated compliance requirement versions, and you can see complete list with additional information here. You can also see a complete list of available compliance requirement for product marketability here.
