On April 8th, we had the pleasure of gathering for a new SAP Community Paris meetup, and what a night it was, just EPIC !!
Thanks to the amazing parisian energy, we hit a record: over 110 participants joined us at Malt’s beautiful office in Paris. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and lots of new ones too!

VINCI Energies: 7 Years on S/4HANA: Lessons and Next Steps
The evening started with a very interesting session from the team at VINCI Energies, who shared their experience with S/4HANA.

They made the move 7 years ago, well ahead of the curve, and gave us a deep, honest look into their experience:
- Why they decided to migrate early
- The challenges they faced (both technical and human)
- What they’ve learned across multiple areas: finance, logistics, development, and architecture
- And how their transformation is still evolving today
It was an honest and practical presentation, full of real-life examples and tips for anyone preparing or going through a migration.
SAP: What’s new and what’s coming
Next, Alexandre and Florian from SAP France gave us a look at the latest updates in the SAP world. They covered some exciting topics like:
- New features in finance, like DRC
- The evolution of GROW and RISE
- Real-world use cases for AI, BTP, and Business Data Cloud

There was a ton of interest, and lots of great questions from the audience, a proof that the community is eager to learn and ready to move forward.
Big thanks to everyone!
