It was almost 8 years back. We delivered Adobe Forms for the first time and client went live peacefully. But something happened on the next week.

A peaceful day at afternoon time, my team lead assigned me a production bug. It was kindof usual right but the title of the bug was not - 'Truck is stuck at the gate for 1 hour'.

What we did?

We laughed a lot, a lot till our breath. Then called the user who raised this issue. We understood that the person was very frustrated as he was trying over and over to print the Acknowledgement. We got the data from him what was causing the issue. Functional team started to replicate the same issue in Staging environment, but failed.

All the Adobe developers also gathered up in a meeting to resolve this issue. It felt that we were part of a SWAT team. And the only thing struck my mind - Truck is stuck, what the ____.

At last we found it. The issue was in data type mismatch.

Same type of problem happened later also but the bug description was not that much interesting.
