There are a lot of changes going on in the SAP Community, including some additional Tutorials on how to navigate around the SAP Community as well as helpful information about Questions and Answers. These good practices around helping others in the SAP Community will be showcased in a quick demo. I will also provide a list of my favourite SAP Community Blog posts since we met last and hope to generate some interactive discussion on some of the topics covered. This will be an interactive session.

Intelligent Robotic Process Automation, Conversational AI & Chatbots

Intelligent bots could well be the digital era’s dream workers, automatically carrying out repetitive tasks while people tackle responsibilities that humans are uniquely good at, like making judgment calls on business strategies or building relationships with customers.  In fact, Gartner researchers predict that over 50 percent of all large enterprises will deploy at least one bot or chatbot by 2020.

Learn how SAP is expanding its intelligent enterprise capability by investing in intelligent robotic process automation (IPA) – the combination of robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and conversational AI into one end-to-end automation stack.  Adding intelligence to automated business processes behind the scenes is a significant step forward for the back office and the entire company - there’s no question procurement is better served by strategic buyers, finance can spend more time helping support an intelligent enterprise, and HR moves away from transactions to become a strategic business partner.  In this session, we’ll demonstrate how to develop a chatbot using Conversation AI platform and how you can start developing your first bots.

BREAK

6:50pm – 7.15pm

S/4HANA Fiori Authorisation Concept

The session will outline the essentials for getting started with Fiori authorisations, and how it compares with the traditional ECC backend concept; it will outline the impact on the backend role authorisation concept, and how the role design influences the overall UX strategy and BAU user and role administration. It will contain an introduction to SAP Fiori Library and the concept of business catalogues and business catalogue groups, which may include native Fiori apps, GUI tcodes using SAP GUI for HTML, and Web Dynpro ABAP apps. If time allows, I will highlight some of the specific Fiori challenges to be prepared for.
