About this event

The goal of this one-day training is to explain the basic principles of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and to give first insights into the new BTP low-code/no-code curriculum. In addition to presentations and demos, participants will get the opportunity to experience SAP BTP services hands-on.

Current status

In Q4/2023 and Q1/2024, faculty members from 19 universities worldwide have been evaluating SAP Intelligent RPA in a global pilot. With this beta curriculum, they were experiencing how to automate simple tasks such as reading weather data from a Google Chrome browser application and to predict the amount of rented bicycles for Global Bike for the next couple of days.

Next Steps

As the SAP iRPA service is being merged into SAP's low-code/no-code solution SAP Build, in parallel SAP UCC Magdeburg is evaluating the SAP Build applications SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Workzone. We are planning to piloting the new SAP Build curriculum at the beginning of 2024 with a global rollout later in 2024. This training will bring professors and lecturers no only up-to-date with the SAP solutions for low-code/no-code development, but also with the learning material and the UCC services available at that time. Based on our introductory material, we would like to enable and encourage educators to develop their own teaching content most suitable for their classes.
