On Wednesday, October 11th, we hosted the SAP Academic Community Conference Portugal 2023 at the University of Coimbra. This was made possible through the help of our Next-Gen Local Ambassadors, José Luis, Anabela, Salvador, and Maria Gabriela.
We welcomed about 30 participants from educational institutions, SAP Partners, and SAP Clients. The discourse revolved around a variety of themes, which included the regional vision of SAP for the academic ecosystem, the importance of acquiring SAP skills for emerging talents, and SAP's cloud solutions.
We had the opportunity to hear from Joaquim Freire, Director at SAP Portugal, and representatives from Inetum, Milestone, and SoftINSA. Representatives from EDP, Trivalor Group, and Nabeiro Group - all clients members of GUSP, also contributed to the discussions. Dr. Holger Wittges, director of UCC TUM participated remotely, sharing news and updates regarding SAP solutions for teaching. Wrapping up the agenda, Professors Jorge Carrola from Nova-IMS, and Carlos Queiroz from IPT shared their experiences with the UA program.
It was a wonderful experience engaging with our academic community and bringing together all ends of SAP ecosystem. We look forward to extending further engagement and support in the future!
