Dear SAP University Alliances Member & SAP Young Thinkers Member,

As we begin the year, we have a great update for our academic community: From now on SAP University Alliances and SAP Young Thinkers member institutions can officially use the SAP corporate logo for dedicated use cases and subject to SAP’s trademark use guidelines.

Aligning with SAP's global brand gives your initiatives even greater visibility, credibility, and impact. This step underscores our shared mission to educate the next generation with hands-on experience in SAP solutions and technologies.

To ensure proper use, review the SAP Corporate Logo for third parties in the SAP University Alliances program brand guidance document, which outlines approved scenarios for the corporate logo's use. Please note that the corporate logo is part of SAP’s intellectual property, and we need to protect our corporate brand identity. SAP’s brand is globally recognized—ranked among Interbrand’s Top 20 Best Global Brands.

With this update, please note that the “UA Member Logo” as defined in the SAP University Alliances Membership Agreement shall now mean the SAP corporate logo.

Please review the SAP Corporate Logo Guidance for third parties in the SAP University Alliances program.

Please note that previous visualizations, such as wordmarks and font treatments (e.g. previous logos for SAP University Alliances, SAP Next-Gen, SAP Young Thinkers and others), should no longer be used.

Additionally, SAP University Alliances will phase out the usage of the SAP Next-Gen name and branding. While we transition away from using SAP Next-Gen as a brand and wordmark, our commitment to supporting the next generation remains unwavering: Together, we will continue to prepare students for their future careers and make them future-ready with solutions from SAP.

Certificates of Participation:

  • The same guidelines apply to self-created certificates: the use of SAP Next-Gen, SAP University Alliances, or SAP Young Thinkers logos is no longer permitted.
  • To create a certificate related to any initiative, you must obtain written approval from SAP University Alliances. Please send an email including the name of the initiative, a brief description of the content, and the number of participants (universityalliances@sap.com).

What Remains Unchanged

Our core programs—SAP University Alliances and SAP Young Thinkers—will continue to provide world-class learning opportunities that foster skills, innovation, and leadership to shape tomorrow’s leaders. In written communication we can continue using the names SAP University Alliances and SAP Young Thinkers,  ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the high standards you've come to expect.

Looking ahead

In 2025, we look forward to welcoming you to one of our SAP Academic Community Conferences that bring together the brightest (and, we think, nicest) minds in academia and industry.

Thank you for being an integral part of our global educator community.

We are happy for this great community of educators worldwide. We wish you all the best for the new year and thank you for bringing SAP to the classrooms around the globe.
