The last University Alliances Spotlight newsletter already featured the Student Zone – the newest student experience on the SAP Learning site. In this post we want to inform you about its expansion as the successor of the SAP Learning Hub, edition for SAP Next-Gen in December 2022.
This information will change how you and your students access key SAP-provided enablement resources. Please read it carefully and update your students:
- What is the student zone?
At the Student Zone, students can learn about SAP, explore key SAP solutions and discover career opportunities they can unlock with SAP solution skills. Students have the chance to work with learning journeys and develop in-demand skills in key innovation areas. The platform gives students the opportunity to prepare for certifications, enabling them to demonstrate their skills and boost their career chances. With the student zone, students can connect with SAP experts, peers and other learners to expand their network, get support and share their experiences with one another.
- How will it expand in December 2022?
As of December 2022, the Student Zone will expand with new role-based learning content to further enhance the learning experience. Students can choose from developer, consultant, and data analyst roles to gain the skills required for that specific role - so students can perfectly prepare for the career they pursue. The most career-relevant learning journeys are offered within these roles. High demand enablement previously featured on SAP Learning Hub, edition for SAP Next-Gen will be available first, followed by additional learning journeys the community has requested.
- What does the sunset of the SAP Learning Hub, edition for SAP Next-Gen mean to me?
With the student zone being the go-to place for students to upskill, SAP begins the process to sunset the SAP Learning Hub, edition for SAP Next-Gen. As of December 31, 2022, the platform will be closed to new registrations. Students with existing accounts will be able to use the edition and complete already started training until June 30, 2023. Students planning to begin new enablement courses should start their training on student zone. The SAP Learning Hub, academic edition continues to be available to educators. This platform provides professors with the latest classroom materials, supporting resources like the quick start guides and enablement, textbooks, events and much more.
