The Academic Board plays a crucial role as a trusted advisor for the continuous improvement of the SAP University Alliances program, providing feedback on new offerings and making suggestions for new curricula, among others. This is a great opportunity for you to have a direct impact on the future of SAP-related teaching, research, and education.

Dear members of the Iberoamerican Academic Community of SAP University Alliances,
Through this message, we would like to communicate the latest news about our SAP Academic Board Iberoamerica (hereinafter ABI) regarding all members of SAP University Alliances, both associate and full members, from the Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal region.
This year, the ABI has defined and approved the regulation. Among the most crucial changes is the introduction of a new process by which the Academic Assembly, made up of all educational institutions affiliated with the program in the region, will elect the academic members to represent them in the ABI.
Thus, following the indications in the new regulations, the academic community will undertake the following activities:
- Virtual Meeting - SAP Academic Board Rules: A virtual meeting of the academic community will be held with the aim of presenting and explaining the rules to the community on May 23rd at 17h CET. Click here to check out the recording (passcode: FE$32Q5e)
- Application Process: Subsequently, the application process will begin, during which time those interested will have the opportunity to submit a candidacy to the ABI, following all the requirements outlined in the proposed regulation.
- Review of the Applications and Voting Process: The current ABI team, with the support of the SAP team for the region, will proceed to review the candidacies and confirm if the requirements are fulfilled. Subsequently, an electronic voting process will be carried out as explained in the Article 3.5.1 (and following) of the regulation.
- Regional General Assembly: Finally, we will convene a Regional General Assembly on July 4 at 17h CET. At this meeting, we will announce the results and introduce the new members of the ABI. [Register here]

Estimados miembros de la Comunidad Académica Iberoamericana de SAP University Alliances,
A través de este mensaje les quisiéramos comunicar las últimas novedades sobre nuestro SAP Academic Board Iberoamerica (en adelante ABI) respecto de todos los miembros de SAP University Alliances, tanto en calidad de Asociados o de Miembros completos de la región América Latina y el Caribe, España y Portugal.
Este año el ABI definió y aprobó el reglamento del ABI. Entre las novedades más importantes, se incorpora un proceso por el cual será la Asamblea Académica, formada por todos los centros adscritos al programa en la región, quien elija a los miembros académicos que los representen en el ABI.
Así, siguiendo lo indicado en el nuevo reglamento, la comunidad académica procedería con las siguientes actividades:
- Reunión Virtual - SAP Academic Board Rules: Convocamos a una reunión virtual de la comunidad académica en breve con el objetivo de presentar y explicar las reglas a la comunidad para el día 23 de Mayo a las 17 h CET. Click here para ver la grabación (passcode: FE$32Q5e)
- Proceso de Postulaciones: Posteriormente, comenzará el proceso de postulaciones, para lo cual tendremos un tiempo a aquellas personas interesadas a presentar una candidatura al ABI, con las características que figuran en el marco de funcionamiento respectivo [Tener link para abrir a votación 1 semana antes de la asamblea]
- Revisión de las Candidaturas y Votación: Luego el ABI actual con el apoyo del equipo SAP para la región, procederá a revisar las candidaturas y confirmará si los requisitos están cumplidos. Seguidamente, se realizará la votación electrónica según se explica en su reglamento Artículo 3.5.1 y siguientes
- Asamblea General Regional: Finalmente, convocaremos a Asamblea General Regional para el día 4 de Julio a las 17 h CET [Registro aquí]. En dicha reunión se darán a conocer los resultados y presentaremos a los nuevos miembros del ABI

Por meio deste e-mail, gostaríamos de comunicar as últimas notícias sobre o nosso SAP Academic Board Iberoamerica (doravante ABI) que representa todos os membros da SAP University Alliances, incluindo associates e full-members, da região da América Latina e Caribe, Espanha e Portugal.
Este ano o ABI definiu e aprovou o regulamento anexado. Dentre os desdobramentos mais importantes, incorpora-se um processo pelo qual será a Assembléia Acadêmica, formada por todos os centros ligados ao programa na região, que escolherá os membros acadêmicos para representá-los no ABI.
Assim, de acordo com as novas regulamentações, a comunidade acadêmica prosseguiria com as seguintes atividades:
- Reunião Virtual - SAP Academic Board Rules: Organizamos uma reunião virtual da comunidade acadêmica com o objetivo de apresentar e explicar as regras para a comunidade no dia 23 de maio às 17h CET. Click here para ver a gravação (passcode: FE$32Q5e)
- Processo de Candidaturas: Posteriormente, começará o processo de candidaturas, para o qual teremos um tempo para que os interessados apresentem uma candidatura ao ABI, com as características que constam no respectivo Regulamento.
- Revisão das Candidaturas e Votação: Em seguida, o ABI atual, com o suporte da equipe da SAP UA para a região, revisará as candidaturas e confirmará se os requisitos foram atendidos. A votação eletrônica ocorrerá então conforme o Artigo 3.5.1 e seguintes do Regulamento.
- Assembleia Geral Regional: Por fim, chamaremos a Assembleia Geral Regional para o dia 4 de julho às 17h CET. Nesse encontro, os resultados serão divulgados e apresentaremos os novos membros da ABI.
