XAPI Support for SF Learning is coming - what will be the features?

Hi All,

I see that xAPI support is announced for SF Learning end of this year.

What will be the impact? What new options or features will then be possible for us?

Does it mean we can track the completion of our so-far available items and content objects better?

Does it mean a user can add easily a youtube video as content to the LMS?

How will xAPI be setup in SF LRN?

Hi Uwe,

With xAPI support, it will be possible to launch cmi5 course packages​ and experience statements from those courses will be captured in the provided SuccessFactors Learning Record Store (LRS); and these experience statements could also be sent to your company's own LRS. Additionally, you can capture experience statements from external sources in the SF LRS using xAPI.

We'll share more details as we approach the planned release date.

Any news regarding the planned SAP SF LRS? Without this xAPI does not really makes sense to me. We need to be able to do easy and quick reporting on statements. This will make or break the xAPI functionality.
