Would a Guided tour of Web Assistant not work on a pop-up window (midst of the tour)?

Hi all,

How to make guided tours work on a pop-window in SuccessFactors or on any Web Assistant supported SAP applications? For example, I wanted to create a guided tour on 'How to add an objective in the performance forms'. So, obviously when I select element '+Add objective' it throws the pop-up window and from there I'm unable to continue hotspot on to the pop-up window. Wondering if this is not possible or if there is any workaround for this? In fact, in SuccessFactors, everything come in a pop-up window either ESS or MSS.pop-up-window.png

I know we can use simulations and link them here in the Web Assistant, however the choice is to demonstrate the Guided tours on SuccessFactors.

For those pop ups in SuccessFactors it is actually a different URL. What I have seen other customers do is create a step before that pop up and leave it unassigned or centered on screen. Then they type the steps of what needs to occur before that step. The key in SucessFactors if you do not see a ? mark in the upper right corner of the pop up then it is not supported for assignment. Some of these items are fixes in the SuccessFactors new UI.

Thank you Jesse for your reply but my requirement includes explaining each and every field that comes on a pop-up window. Adding all the information in a step before is not a feasible option for me. This is so surprising that SAP couldn't foresee this coming and didn't design this for the pop-ups. If this is the case, Web Assistant is of no real benefit to SuccessFactors system as no help topics nor guided tours can be created (as almost all of the SF opens in pop-up window). Seems I'm limited to only Link Tile for now (which I'm not a fan of)

Can you please specify when this is getting fixed and what time-line/release. Thanks
