Workflow should trigger basis on another MDF Object

Hi,

We have a requirement where, upon submission of a custom MDF object by a user, we need to trigger a workflow for another custom MDF object that serves as a feedback object. I'm looking for ways to achieve this, such as using intelligent services, CPI, or exploring other workarounds.

Hi nirandjands, I am kinda confused of that requirement. Are you able to provide some kinda example and what exactly is the goal? of course with example data and not live data. As far as I know triggering workflows on import for MDF's is not supported. I am not sure but I think I read somewhere taht you might be able to if you were to make an odata request, but that requires plugging in a 3rd Party System. What might be possible is to trigger the workflow in object 1 and after it was approved sync the data to the second mdf object. Can you clarify your requirement?
