Hello Experts,
We have a scenario where workflow was triggered, when employee was active. Later, employee became inactive, but workflow reminders are being sent to Approvers for inactive employees also.
Is there any way to stop sending workflow reminders for inactive employees via business rule so that workflow reminder should not be triggered??
I know that workflow request can be cancelled for inactive employee or Admin Alerts can be used to decline Admin Alert Type- Stalled Workflows Employee Related.
Kindly advise.

For workflows that was triggered before the subject user becomes inactive, you must clean them up from the Manage Workflow Requests page. More details can be found in this Guide.
If talking about alerts, you can avoid notifications for inactive employees by following this guidance.
