Workarea in Manager

Can someone direct me to the steps needed to add a net- new workarea in manager?

Go to the manager click on Administration then click on workarea tags

At the top you will see a quick add enter workarea name and SID click save.

What is SID?

SID: Unique 'technical' identifier for the Workarea. This is the ID that will be used in URLs (whereas the Name is just for easy reference, and appears at the top of the Workarea screen). You can choose anything for both of these fields, but I'd suggest you use something short and meaningful (and lowercase) for the SID. For example, SAP uses s4, and sfsf for their S/4HANA and SuccessFactors standard content workareas.
