Hello there,
When we generate work schedule rule (rotating shifts), one week may have 5 working days, and another week may have 6 weeks - let's say, 8hrs/day. And, we may have holidays as well.
In the work schedule creation screen, we have daily, weekly, monthly hours, annual hours - which ultimately is also tagged to IT0007 and IT0008 (WorkHrs/period).
Again, month to month the working hours may vary. i.e. In March we have 31 days, and in Feb we have 28 days and so on. Let's say I maintain 176 hours under monthly working hours field in IT0007 - also reflected under IT0008. And I understand that this value (IT0008 (WorkHrs/period) - Technical Term: DIVGV) is being used in PCRs for calculation.
Then, can we consider that our results would be accurate? I could be missing something here. Can someone clarify this, please?

System will take care the number of working Hours. While configuring IT007 it will take default value. But when you execute payroll and check PARTT Function under GENPS the Days calculation will vary from month to month.
You can do a check on Over time wage type for the month of Jan and Feb based on working hours in this case I believe we should alter Valuation basis PCR
