We are facing a scheduling challenge at the hospital clinic, where employees are eligible to work two shifts spanning more than 24 hours. The shifts are structured as follows: the first shift runs from 07:00 to 13:30, followed by an unpaid break from 13:30 to 19:00. The second shift starts at 19:00 and continues until 07:30 the next day. We are having difficulty creating and assigning these shifts in the work schedule due to the 24-hour overlap. Could you please advise on how we can effectively manage this and proceed with scheduling in this case?

Hello,
there is no solution for this requirement. I did not check, but I am pretty sure this is mentioned in the implementation guide. You cannot have got these kinds of shifts in Successfactors and I even don´t see any workaround to cover double shifts. I can advice to create an enhancement request, but honestly I doubt that it will be picked up soon. A cloud solution is always a standard solution. Double shifts do occur in some branches and for some employees, but it is not kind of standard.
Best regards
Volker
