Hello SAP Experts,
I was trying to create a business rule to trigger an alert notification and send an email to inform HR that an employee’s Work Permit in Singapore will expire in 30 days and 60 days.
For this purpose, I created the following rule:
However, after reviewing the workflow and the alert message, HR only receives the alert when the Work Permit expiration date is two months before. The second condition for 30 days is being skipped.
In Manage Alerts & Notifications, the 30-day alert remains pending.
I tried a different approach, and my concern is whether this approach is correct, using a date plus condition in the "IF" clause:
With this second approach, HR receives both alerts for 30 days and 60 days, and the alert creation date and alert effective date remain the same (as of today, during testing).
Could you please provide your expertise and guidance?
Thank you!

The alert pending to do´s seems to repeat employees, for the first employee the alert should only be send for 60 days, as it was correctly send in the 2 line. For the third employee, the alert is correct, however the system also send an Pending alert for 30 days, alert should only be send for 60 days as it was.
It seems that the rule is trigger in both dates, i.e in this this two employees, the Work permit expiration date is april 19, and the the rule trigger was for 30 days alert.
rule for 30 days
Rule for 60 days
Any change I should do in the business rule?
Thank you for your help!
Hi, Elsa, Thank you very much for your comment. I tried to create a two separate rules, one for 30 days and another for 60 days. The alerts were trigger, just to be sure if the dates are correct alert effective date seems not correct right ? The purpose is to receive an alert as of today, 60 days before (april 19th) and 30 days before (march 20).
