Why is our trainer not loading (we are on newest trainer version)?

My colleague noticed that one of library is not loading, raised an incident about this to SAP and told that might because of old trainer. Upon checking we are using the latest version: trainer 10.7.1.2472. The KBA has different version of 10.7.0.1951.

Is this probably the reason?

Hi PiaCarmela,

OK, if the Trainer object has been reverted to the standard version and republished and you are still getting issues with the content not playing, I would try the following to address the issue:

1. Modify the corresponding Playback Settings in your Workarea to use one of the standard content players, e.g. Trainer Style (Medium)
2. Revert the selected Trainer style to ensure that you are using a standard version of that Trainer. Use the same process described above to revert the Trainer style
3. Unpublish and then Publish all Resources, including the Playback Settings and Trainer style
4. Try again.

If this fails, we will need the Enable Now support team to take a closer look.

Hi PiaCarmela,

Can you please confirm that you have the 10.1.7.2472 Trainer set as default - it should be bold - and have published the Trainer.

Yes we have that set up in our Manager.

My collegue has tried the steps above, however, it is not working and the page is still showing with just 'Loading..'. 😞

Hi everyone,

There seems to be a number of people reporting issues with the Trainer in Extended Workareas. If you are working in an Extended Workarea, the proposed fix is to:

1. Open Manager
2. Fetch the latest Trainer object 10.1.7.2472 and start editing the object
3. Click the down arrow beside the Import Archive option and select Revert Resources
4. Revert the Trainer object
5. Publish the Trainer, set it as default and try again

We also did the necessary steps from the note above but nothing happened. We had incident raised as High priority for this already. We wanted to know the reason why it suddenly not loading.

On my computer and on computers of my customer it works with Google Chrome 113.5672.127

As I understood this will be fixed with the upcoming hotfix.

I have an issue with the latest Trainer. It fixed an an issue I had with Link Tile LIghtboxes not loading in Companion, however similar to above issue, my Books are no longer working correctly: Book launches but pages are all blank. Reverted to old Trainer and Books now ok but the Link Tile Lightbox issue comes back. I have raised this as a separate query but thought might help here.

Is this the same issue that will be fixed in the Hotfix: If so do you know when that will be?
