Why is my Web assistant announcement bubble not opening by itself?

On our SuccessFactors home page I have added one Link tile with a link to book page. This is the only tile on that page. I have set the Light box to display as announcement. Occurrence I have set as Always. Still the bubble doesn't show unless the user click on the help tile. What am I Missing?

Also is there a better way to show a Welcome or WA availability message to end users even before the user click the ? icon?

Thanks in Advance!

Prashant

Hi Prashant,

it should display as soon as a user logs into SuccessFactors. Maybe you can try to delete the cache of the user you're testing with?

Also you can try the openImmediately parameter (see WA Integration Guide). You can set that to minimized and it will open the Web Assistant when logging in to SF, but only as a small bar on the right side.

What we have done internally is to create a new custom tile with information about the Web Assistant, like this:

Also have a look at my blog post highlighting different options: Useful Parameters for the SAP Enable Now Web Assistant

If this helped please mark this question as answered.

Take care,

Kristina

Hi Kristina,

It worked after I cleared the browser cache. The Announcement link page launched in few seconds of user sign in. This will be the best option to announce availability of the WA help for initial few weeks. We may also add the tile option as an alternative.

Thanks for your help.
