Why is enable now freezing when I start to record a simulation?

Please help me record the simulation. I've tried in Chrome and IE and Enable now freezes when I sync to server and then select + to create a simulation and when I select the window on what to record this is when the program crashes 3 times before I restart or shutdown the computer. Any ideas on the best browser to use or what programs I should close before I start recording?

Hi Rowena,

You should be able to record in either IE or Chrome but will need to install the Chrome Enable Now Enablement Assistant Extension. The Enable Now Enablement Assistant Chrome Extension can be installed from the Chrome Web Store.

A few questions for you:

Does this issue occur with all applications or just one specific application?
What specifically occurs when Producer closes; is a Watchdog window opened?
Have you been through the requirements in the Requirements document, look at the system requirements document located at https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_ENABLE_NOW/2005/en-US?task=implement_task?

Perhaps provide some specific detail about the error and we should be able to identify the issue.

Hi Rowena,

I hope you are able to now record after we spent some time yesterday. It looks to be a browser setting in Chrome causing the issue.

If the IE and Edge are ok for the workaround please be sure to mark the question answered.
