Why I am unable to view and edit simulations in producer?

Hello dirkmanuel2

I need immediate assitance to overcome below issue.

I've been granted admin privileges to below workarea Tagged as EXTENDED but despite that I'm unable to view folder structure as well as the recordings created within respective folder to view and edit.

Thease recordings are created by different vendor and now I've been assigned to view and edit simulations.

Hi Maqsood,

I noticed that it had downloaded more than 800 Simulations before it failed so was obviously running for some time. Another common issue, outside those mentioned by Anton above, is timeout. Please read timeout issues when synchronising content between Producer and Manager.

"Immediate assistance" - this is something new to see here 🙂 Should it better to submit an OSS then?

Regarding your issue with the synchronization due to the connection drop: the possible reasons are: firewall/VPN/Proxy server settings/SSL traffic inspection.

Try turning off your VPN (if it's active) and other security software (if you have them running). If it failed again, try synchronizing on your private laptop/workstation (in 99% cases it should work) If the sync works on a private equipment, reach out to your networking/security team and ask them to investigate what's wrong with connection from your company laptop/workstation.

Hello Anna/Shane,

As advised I have Checked out from Server WorkArea >>> Checkout Objects.

But I am getting the below ERROR when I open producer.

Note: I tried both ways Overwrite/Keep options but still seeing some exceptions.

Hi Maqsood,

As mentioned by Anna above, open Producer and select Server Workarea > Check Out Objects and then select the objects to download to Producer. The content must be downloaded to Producer before you can work on it.

How to overcome below error and view ALL simulations created under respective folders ?

I checked out but to my surpise only few out of many simulations are appearing in producer after displaying below error/exception.
