Why are we not able to assign hotspot in guided tours in some tile?

While creating guided tours, in some tiles we are not able to assign hotspots....it selects the entire page instead of a specific field.

Can anyone please help with the possible solution to this?

It's down to how the application page is built. It can't find any more granular object to use. I've seen this in older versions of SuccessFactors Learning, but that was a couple of years ago on a very backlevel version. If you press the i key when you are assigning the Hotspot, to show the Element Information panel, what does it show in the Element Selector field? Do you get anything more useful on any part of the screen?

Worse case is you'll need to just accept the page, change the Highlight to Icon, and use the Offset fields to position it near the actual element it should apply to. Definitely not ideal, but...

And also open an Incident with SAP to get them to re-code that application to be more 'Enable Now friendly'...
