I am trying to apply this workaround to the rehire with new employment process through recruiting and onboarding. The date populates as expected in the approval step after manage pending hire step. Although, when approved and rehired, the date defaults back to new employment start date under Employment info portlet of employee profile.
How can we resolve this?
