I don"t see the name of the default font in our offer letter templates

The most common default font,
Arial, 11 pt or 12 pt
Arial is widely supported across web and PDF renderers.
SuccessFactors generates offer letters as PDF documents or HTML previews, where standard web-safe fonts like Arial ensure compatibility
