We are a company in the utilities sector with roughly 1400 staff (Permanent, Fixed Term, Casual, Contingent Worker) and are currently embarking on our journey to implement Job Profile Architecture (using JPB).
I'm really interested to find out how others have done this exercise in allocating Jobs? (e.g. does an environmental advisor sit under Environmental Job Family or Advisor Job Family?)
When we first connected JPB/EC we opted to keep the same structure as on the Job Classification. Job Function on the Job Classification Object matches Family in JPB. Job Classification title matches Role. This isn't how SAP recommends using JPB, but it made the most sense for us at the time.
We are preparing for a major Job Architecture overhaul in 2024, and are deciding how to manage JPB contents in the future. Would also love to hear what others are doing!
