Hi
Trying to create a business rule validation on the time sheet entry to stop an overlap of time types on the time sheet (classification extra) at the same time.
What is the best way to achieve this? I have various business rules, tried with a Lookup function on the Employee Time Sheet / Employee Time Sheet entry but can't seem to get the rule correct.
Does anyone perhaps have an example of how to achieve this? Is this achievable in a business rule? Which object would be best to have this validate on?
Any advice is appreciated,
Kind regards
Shalene

Hello Shalene,
I check collision of extra time type by time valuation, try follow the step below
1. You have to create time max length of extra time type.
example: you have 2 extra time type that clocking time are
08:00-13:00 and 11:00-17:00 => create max length is 08:00-17:00 = 9 hrs.
2. Create time valuation to compare hours of max length with input extra time type
this results on timesheet UI
Hope this can help you.
Thank you.
