What is the BEST item type for a pdf document in LMS?

What is the BEST item type for a pdf document in the SuccessFactors LMS? Up until now, we have been using Policy Acknowledgement but with this course we are working on, we are not sure if that is the best option for us. We are not very concerned about whether they will agree to the document, only that it is available to them.

I have searched and searched but am unable to find a document that describes each of the item types and how they would best be used.

Hi Fonya,

Item types are created by customers and hence do not have any standard guidelines on what you should choose. I believe most of the customers will be using item types such as

1. Online
2. Document
3. Course
4. Classroom
(etc.)

It really depends on your wish what Item type you want to create. Only thing that has to be done is that you also create the relevant Completion status as well. Hope that answers your concern.
