What in ILX does the "Accomplishments" menu do (and how to get rid of it)?

Hi,

I am preparing to activate the new ILX.
In my test instance, as a learner, in the mini menu top right, there is "Accomplishments".

If I click on "Accomplishments", it brings me to an error page.
I could not find something in the Role hinting to this.

What is it meant to do (did not find any relevant info in the SAP documentation) ?

How can I remove this from the menu ?

Thanks,

Kris

@Kristian_Unell, I believe the Accomplishments link in the Activities mini menu refers to Learning Accomplishments, which is a feature in the Learning module that was released several years ago. Seeing that option in the Activities menu means that the Access Learning Accomplishments workflow has been added to the USER Learning security role assigned to the test user that you were using in your test system.

To confirm in your test system, view the permissions assigned to the User Learning security role(s) that your company uses. In Learning Admin > System Admin > Security > Role Management, there are two default User roles in called DEFAULT USER and LEARNING_USER. In addition, during implementation, our partner created a copy of the default User role and named it something similar, so you may need to review all of the User roles to find the one that has the "Access Learning Accomplishments" workflow assigned (the workflow lives in the Learning group). Note: If your company has added the Role field to the User entity configuration, you can view the People > Users record of the test user to see what security role is assigned to that test user.

Once you determine which User role contains the Access Learning Accomplishments permission, remove that permission from the role. Log out of Learning and then login again to confirm that the Accomplishments link has been removed from the Activities menu on the ILX.

CAVEAT: I would strongly recommend you review all of the User roles that are being actively used in Production to determine whether this workflow has been assigned to any of them. It may be that the workflow was never removed from the User role in Test but was not actually included in the User role in Production.

Good luck,
Mary Katherine
