What data can you use Bulk Uploads for?

Our business owners are interested to understand if we can use 'Bulk Uploads' for tasks which we currently carry out manually and individually for employees. One example given was the changing of hours for employees, currently we do this on a individual basis, but sometimes there can be a large number to process, can Bulk Uploads be used to do this?

If your business uses Bulk Uploads, what tasks do you use it for?

As I understand, Bulk Uploads is used to mass upload attachments to the employee profiles. 'Import and Export Data' can be used to make mass changes to employee records using given templates.

Do you have any examples of what can be updated? Or know any KBA's we can use to help with this?

Thank you for the suggestion. We do already use these templates, however we're thinking of combining templates. E.g Job / Position changes including a change of Pay, how would this work and affect the position management. Would one template be able to be used or would many templates need to be uploaded.

If you go to Manage Data and enter either 'Import and Export' or 'Import Employee Data', you can review the templates available.

There is also 'Manage Mass Changes' to make mass changes to employee data.
