WFA on Hana: Issue with WFA Artifacts Sync Job

Hello @YSE-1 :

We have an customer that has been live with WFA on Hana for some time now.  Suddenly the location dimension is not appearing in WFA, and when we try to run the WFA Artifacts Sync Job it fails on Location. 

The customer has made some location data updates in the past 1-2 months, but upon review of these there are no duplicates.  In addition, there are no errors appearing in the build log. 

Any ideas as to what could be happening here?

Hi @mikehoekstra1 - usually the main cause of Location failed to sync is because there are duplicates in the structure. The duplicate error will not appear in the initial load status log because the transformation process can handle case sensitive value but the error will appear when we try to access the location structure on WFA site. Can you provide the DC and instance for this customer so I can check? Thank you.

Hi @mikehoekstra1 - definitely issue with the Location structure on duplicate node:

Even though you cannot access this from WFA site, but you can go to Dimension Editor menu to check.

When I access to WFA site directly and use Location hierarchy, it caused error on measure page and also cause application error when trying to change structure.  This is the error in the back-end log:
