Wating List scenario in e-rec

Hi Experts,

How is waiting list scenarion exist in Recruitment. If a candidate selected for a job and he joins and left the company after 3 to 4 months.

Then We have to select the next suitable candidate from the requisition, without creating new requisition.

How can we achieve this in standard E-recruitment.

what is the status of other waiting list candidates, when one person selected for a job.

Hello Sreedhar,

You still have the other candidates assigned to the already requisition and you can make the decision for the next chosen candidate there.

Hello Sreedhar,

If you haven't automatically rejected all others, yes. If they are rejected you can create a new status changing activity wo will set the chosen candidate status from 'rejected' to 'in process' or 'to be hired' again.

Is it mandatory to Reject all other  candidates once a cadidate is selected

If we close the requisition what will be the status of Inprocess candidates.

If you close the requisition, you are not able to re-set the status again to 'draft' or 'release'. So then you will have to create a new requisition and eg. forward the candidates of the closed requisition to the newly created one.

We have seen COPY option in requisition but not FORWARD.

How to forward all the candidates from the closed requisition to the new requisition. Can all the activities made for the candidates in old requisition will be available in new rquisition.

Hello Sreedhar,

By calling the closed requisition -> mark the candidate and click on button 'assign'. Here you can choose 'assign to requisition' where you can search for your newly created one. This one you have to select and press button 'assign'.
