Good day
I am implementing SAP Successfactors Compensation and Variable pay. I would like to know if there is an alternative way to manage a situation where an employee has 1 position on the system but his bonus needs to be split due to contributions from different business units without implementing concurrent employment??
Any assistance and input will be greatly appreciated

Hi Brendan,
We have the same situation. We have our Bonus Plans designed based on Business Units and country. We transfer the employee between the business units in the same employment record and the Bonus Plan and Target are derived based on the new business unit and new country.
When we used the Prorated approach, both the rows were pulled into Variable Pay and bonus got calculated based on their bonus plan.
Please let me know if this answers your question.

Good day,
Thank you very much for the response.
Do you have a scenario where employees are required to work different proportions of their positions into different business units with an assignment individual rating for each of the business units. This employee must also be displayed on both business units variable pay sheets but only one planner record exists as the employee can only have a one to one relationship with the comp planner and not one to many.
The only way we know how to handle this is through concurrent employment but we do not want to go that route thus we are looking for an alternative solution.
Do you perhaps have an idea?
