Hi all,
I'm hoping for your insights on variable pay template.
We have a custom entry column with an IF condition specifying if all requirements are met..
It's straightforward: when the custom column hits "1", we need to alert the planner there's an issue. While compensation templates handle such changes easily, I'm unsure about variable pay templates.
Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds to allow custom validation within variable pay templates?

Request clarification before answering.
As you are aware, custom validations do not work on Variable Pay templates. The only workaround is to make a Total Compensation template and have the planner do the work on the "compensation" side while the "vp" side just does the calculations.
