Using Import Export Data for Legal Entity: How to Reject Rows Outside the User’s auth. Coutry scope

Hello SAP Community,

In SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, we use the “Import and Export Data” tool to manage Legal Entity (FOLegalEntity) imports. But we want to grant admin rights to specific users while restricting their import scope for specific countries — for example, if a user wants to load Legal Entities:

• User X: can only load Belgium & France related legal entities
• User Y: can only load Spain & Italy only related legal entities
• User Z: can only load USA & Canada only related legal entities

Question: How can we configure Role-Based Permissions (RBP) so that when User X uploads a CSV file containing Legal Entities from multiple countries, the rows related to Spain/Italy/USA/Canada are automatically rejected during import processing (showing “No permission” errors in logs)?

Hi, 

Please read this section in the guide: Record Level Permission for Import and Export | SAP Help Portal

You can now permission on record level for MDF objects, making sure a user can only import data for which the user is permissioned.
