Question: How can I trigger Onboarding or Crossboarding for an existing employee when a new Assignment ID is generated for that employee?
Scenario Detail:
We have a full suite implementation the includes RCM, ONB 2.0, and EC w/ Position Mgmt.
We have a custom MDF portlet that captures the same information as 'Add New Employee' in EC. This portlet generates an Assignment ID (assignment_ID_external) that is associated with a single Person ID (person-id-external) to create a secondary employment record for an existing employee.
Concurrent Employment and Global Assignment are not enabled in EC.
Client expects employee will go through Crossboarding process for a secondary employment. The Event for the Assignment ID creation will be a Hire event.
